Every Tuesday from September 12 - December 12
What is HopeKeepers?
HopeKeepers support groups are designed to meet the emotional and spiritual needs of people who experience chronic illness or pain. Through this Christ-centered support group, you will have the opportunity to grow spiritually while being surrounded by others who share similar circumstances, unrevealed answers, and even joys while experiencing a chronic illness or physical pain.
This is a place where people can share their spiritual struggles, growth, or questions. It is a place where you can discuss how you are coping or how others may not understand illness.
It is a place where we make it a priority to keep our focus on Christ—our ultimate hope and where we put our faith.
At HopeKeepers groups, although people are encouraged to talk about the frustrations that they encounter along their “chronic illness journey” in regard to relationships, marriage, finances, parenting, and careers, the focus of the group is about learning to be content in our circumstances (Phil 4:11). We also talk about how exciting a pain-free heaven will be that we will one day experience. Although our days may be filled with flares, stiffness, breathing difficulties, or endless headaches, we are encouraged that God will never leave our side.
