WHY WE GIVE
You Cannot Out-Give God!
Generosity is an act of worship, of gratitude, and of trust in God’s provision. We believe that giving financially is an act of worship that glorifies God and matures believers. Your giving changes lives, transforms families and communities, and demonstrates your faith in the fact that God is the provider of all good things. When you give financially, your generosity enables us to continue the ministries that spread the gospel and serve our communities.
We practice generosity because we serve a generous God. There has never been a more generous act than Jesus giving His own life in exchange for ours. This generous act towards us creates generous hearts in us. God is growing the ministry of Crossroads Community Church through the generosity of people like you. WHAT IS TITHING?
Tithing is more than just giving. The word "tithe" literally means tenth or 10%. Tithing, or giving ten percent of your income, isn't merely giving something to God. It's giving back what was His to begin with. All that we have, or hope to have, comes from Him. In scripture we learn that tithing is a reminder that God is the supplier of everything. It teaches us to always put God first in our lives.
“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.“
