WHY are LifeGroups so important?
At Crossroads, LifeGroups are the place for growing in our relationship with God and connecting in community with others. It’s a place where we apply God’s Word as we discuss the issues and challenges of life. It’s also where we pray together, care for one another, serve our community and are missed if we don’t show up.
Life was never meant to be lived alone. Our belief in the value of community is so strong that we want everyone at Crossroads to join in GroupLife.
WHAT’s a LifeGroup look like?
LifeGroups consist of 8-12 people who commit to meeting regularly in someone’s home for 12-24 months. They come in all shapes and sizes: mixed groups, couple’s groups, men’s and women’s groups. Many of our groups consist of people who are in a similar stage of life or live in the same neighborhood or town. We’re confident there’s one that’s a fit for you.
What do groups study?
Through sermon-based studies designed to create an environment for discussion and life-change, LifeGroups give us a chance to discuss the weekend message and discern what to do with it. This allows us to apply, grow in, and make a part of us what God is speaking to us individually and in unity as one church in multiple locations.
STEP OUT of a row into a circle.
We believe spiritual growth occurs as we are growing in relationship with Christ, and this happens best when we are prioritizing intentional relationships with others who are seeking this same goal. Connecting with others experiencing authentic biblical community is one of God’s primary ways to help us grow and experience being a part of His family. If you are ready to step out of a row and into a circle, come join us in a LifeGroup! Look for groups at your campus!
