Celebrate Recovery

The purpose of Crossroads’ Celebrate Recovery is to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through the 8 Recovery Principles and the 12 Steps. We are a caring community of safe & confidential support groups that are designed to help overcome our hurts, habits & hang-ups. Through CR we are accessing Christ’s power in our lives to overcome our issues of anger, grief, guilt, shame, financial loss, family mistakes, abuse, dependencies and more. We have found hope & help in the Power of Jesus Christ!

By working through the 12 Steps & 8 Recovery Principles found the Beatitudes with Jesus Christ as your Higher Power, you can grow and change! You will begin to experience the true peace and serenity you have been seeking; you will no longer have to rely on your unhealthy, compulsive or addictive behaviors as a temporary “fix” for your pain.

By applying the biblical principles of conviction, conversion, surrender, confession, restitution, prayer, quiet time, service, and helping one another, you will restore and develop stronger relationships with God and others.

What other people are saying about Celebrate Recovery…

Mary, at Crossroads…I would not still be mom, daughter, or friend if it was not for Celebrate Recovery. Your program is what kept me alive!

Next Step Group

If you have completed your Celebrate Recovery Step Study and have wondered how you can continue to grow, check out a Next Steps Group. Crossroads’ Next Step Groups offer a developmental approach to recovery that builds on the foundation of the 12 Steps that have already been established. This curriculum was developed by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend two well-known and respected Christian psychologists who are experts in recovery and relationship issues.

Why a Next Step Group?

It’s been said that change is a process not an event. Anyone who has walked the 12 Steps on the road to recovery understands this truth. You have reason to celebrate your completion of the 12 Steps! The Next Step Group offers you the opportunity for continued growth. You will be working out steps 10-12 for the rest of your life and we want to provide you with the best tools to ensure your success. This group will allow you to deepen and expand what you learned at Celebrate Recovery. You will discover new and effective ways to deal with hurtful people and situations, change unwanted behaviors and reach God’s potential for your life.

Topics Covered:

• Safe People: How to find relationships that are good for you and avoid those that aren’t.

• Boundaries: When to say yes, when to say no, to take control of your life.

• Changes That Heal: How to understand your past to ensure a healthier future.
