Brazil – Evangelism Outreach

This Crossroads STO team will travel to Brazil to bring transformation to
rural communities through prayer care share and church planting in the
municipality of Codajás located in the interior of the Amazon. Working with
Dr. Abraham Lincoln’s ministry, our team will serve at schools, social
assistance agencies and medical/dental clinics and may assist in
construction projects.

Crossroads will be partnering with a local church in Manuas, Brazil called
Igreja Alianca Evangelica (Alliance Evangelical Church). Alliance
Evangelical Church provides outreach through dynamic youth and children’s
ministries, drug and alcohol rehabilitation ministry and much more.
Alliance Church has planted over 100 churches in the last 25 years.
Amazonas is the largest state of Brazil (2 ½ times bigger than our state of
Texas). Most of the state is jungle and rural. Its highways and byways are
rivers. Manaus is a city of almost 2 million and Codjas is a city of nearly
20,000 – both in the middle of the Amazon jungle.
